I just love these people, just never know what u walk in on at the Koola. We are one big happy family always making sure each of our parties is fun without making it feel like work, lol. Work what is that? This week Mj invited DJfrenzy to come spin for us *who knows who it will be next week*. I am happy I could make it to his set, could not help myself but dance and enjoy the amazing tunes he kept throwing at us. Mixing some great Vocal/Tech house and making it all sound as if it was easy to do. Great Mixing and Tune choices on Djfrenzy's part, I'm glad I was abble to catch his set and looking forward to listen to him again in the Koola *looks at MJ, hopes she catchest he hint* Well don't want to bore u all to death so I will show u some pics now instead, telling u if ur not at Koola u miss a lot :p

Great party last night on the beach @ Koola - we started off with DJ Franco until it got all too scary for him.... awesome DJ Erin Messmer tried not to shake too much as he span, but it was damn scary down there with all those fantastic costumes... blood on the floor??? huh? We finished up the Koola/Woods event with DJ Kid Yuitza.

Well it's been a busy week at Koola with soooo much going on... from our sunday night beach party with CVC Criss and lovely trin, to welcoming Elian Shinn to the team - glad to have you on board hon..
We've had DJ Badger, DJ Benny Klang, DjGoGo Dreadlow with his Sexy Deep Vocals, and Brazilian DJ and Producer Cristiano Campos aka DJ CvC Criss with a Progressive House Electro clash.
Mine and Kos's art exhibition is still on, and we had another great evening last night with our Koola/Woods joint event. Last night's was at Koola and hosted by our excellent Elian Shinn and with DJ Yannik Seaton, continuing with our own Silus Kappler and later DJ Kid Yuitza - wow what a night... smiles.
Next week's joint event will be at Woods - don't miss it - and don't forget to send me your pics if you wanna get blogged on here:)

Passion and Fire: Scarletti Laval & Kos Maurer
Joint Exhibition At Koola:12 midday slt (8pm gmt) Monday 22nd September 2008
Two wonderful artists launch their first joint exhibition at Koola's new Koola kafe Gallery & Bar. Scarletti Laval, a professional artist and Kos Maurer, renowned photographer have been busy putting together new collections as well as juggling their management roles at Koola.
"It became obvious after a short while of knowing Kos, that we speak a common language when it comes to aesthetics. The links between our works are strong - a common passion to create, and the desire to produce living breathing works" said Scarletti. Kos adds "Yes and also the fact that we use completely different media to create our art, made it an interesting juxtaposition. We both try to retain that spark, the fire that smoulders in a piece - the glint in an eye, the mark of the brush"
Boo Rang, owner of Koola said "I am so proud that we have such creativity and talent in our staff here at Koola. The new Koola Kafe venture will get off to a great start I'm sure - we are planning a series of exhibitions by guest artists. The launch party will be great too - our very own (insert dj here) will be spinning his colourful sounds, and the champagne will be flowing. Might even be a cucumber sandwich or two if Letti has anything to do with it!"

The exhibition opens at 12 midday on Monday 22nd September and continues to 22nd October.
